Jammu and Kashmir Energy Development Agency announced the winners of its empanelment auction to select developers to set up grid-connected rooftop solar projects on government buildings under the renewable energy service company model. A consortium of Photon Surya Urja and Horizon Renewable Power won 36 MW for the Health & Medical Education Department in Jammu at a tariff of ₹4.19 (~$0.0440)/kWh.
