Jakson Green won Solar Energy Corporation of India’s auction to supply 85,000 tons per annum of green ammonia under the Strategic Interventions for Green Hydrogen Transition program (Mode-2A-Tranche-I). Jakson quoted a tariff of ₹50.75(~$0.58)/kg to win the auction. The tariff discovered is lower than the previous tariff of ₹51.8 (~$0.591)/kg won by NTPC. The green ammonia will be supplied to Coromandel International in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh. This is the six auction under the same tranche.
