The Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation (UPPCL) announced the winners of the 375 MW/1,500 MWh standalone battery energy storage auction. KCC Buildcon won 187.5 MW/750 MWh, and Agastya Green Energy won 62.5 MW/250 MWh at a tariff of ₹6.45 (~$0.0680)/kWh. MKC Green Energy won 125 MW/500 MWh out of a quoted 187.5 MW/750 MWh at a tariff of ₹6.46 (~$0.0681)/kWh under the bucket-filling method.
