The Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission (HERC) has directed Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam (HVPNL) to allow a steel manufacturer to draw 100 MW of power from a wind-solar hybrid project, subject to operational safeguards for curtailment and compensation.
