India Records Power Supply Deficit of 0.6 Percent in the Second Quarter of 2017

In the three-month period April to June 2017, India recorded a power supply deficit of 0.6 percent. India generated 307,663 million units (MU) of electricity in the second quarter of 2017, a growth of 3.74 percent, compared to the 296,573.99 MU of electricity generated in the same period last year, according to Central Electricity Authority (CEA).
