The Kuwait Authority for Partnership Projects (KAPP) and the Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy issued a request for proposal for the 1.1 GW Al Dibdibah Power and Al Shagaya Renewable Energy – Phase III – Zone 1 Solar PV project, located within the Shagaya Renewable Energy Park in the Jahra Governorate. The project’s scope of work also includes the development, financing, design, engineering, construction, testing, and commissioning of a 400 kV power transmission substation. Bids must be submitted by September 14, 2025.
