Sino-American Silicon Products (SAS), a Taiwan-based manufacturer of semiconductor and renewable energy materials, and United Renewable Energy (URECO), a Taiwanese solar cell and module manufacturer, have established a U.S.-based joint venture to set up a 1 GW solar module manufacturing facility.
