SJVN Green Energy (SGEL) has issued an expression of interest (EoI) for the sale of 712.89 MW of solar modules stored at multiple locations in India.

Bids must be submitted by May 14, 2026. Bids will be opened on May 15.

The EoI invites interested entities to participate in a market assessment exercise for the outright purchase of these modules, categorized under equipment sales.

The modules are located across two primary storage sites and include monocrystalline solar modules, such as bifacial double-glass and Mono PERC modules.

Supplier-wise, the inventory includes:

  • 144.06 MW from DAS Solar, model DAS-DH144NA (580 W), located in Village Bhadra Mota, District Kutch, Gujarat
  • 284.67 MW from Econess Energy, model EN182M-144 (550 W), located in Mohija Mu Paranda, Post Kurula, Tehsil Kandhar, District Nanded, Maharashtra
  • 284.16 MW from Hefei GCL System Integration New Energy Technology, model GCL NT10/72GDF (580 W), stored at the same Maharashtra location

The scope of work includes identifying prospective buyers and assessing commercial modalities, including lot-wise, location-wise, or composite sale structures. The indicative lot size is 50 MW.

Bidders must undertake independent due diligence, including site inspection, technical evaluation, and performance verification of the modules. After handover, responsibilities for handling, transportation, storage, and use will rest with the purchaser.

Bidders must independently assess regulatory compliance and suitability for deployment in accordance with applicable norms.

Last November, SJVN Green floated a tender for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of 300 MW solar projects in Punjab.

The package comprises three projects totaling 300 MW, split into 200 MW under PSPCL ET-4 and 100 MW under PSPCL ET-2. Project-1 is for 70 MW, where the contractor must procure the modules independently, while Project-2 (130 MW) and Project-3 (100 MW) will involve SGEL supplying the modules free of cost, with contractors responsible for handling and transportation.

In September 2025, SJVN Green invited bids for the engineering, procurement, and construction of 733 MW solar projects in Maharashtra under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0 program, aligned with Component C of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthan Mahabhiyan program.
