<p>The investment follows 10 strategic acquisitions completed by Inox Clean over the past 10 months, boosting its independent power producer, solar manufacturing, and related clean energy businesses.</p>
<p>The flow of the new capital will strengthen the company&#8217;s balance sheet and provide financial flexibility for manufacturing capacity expansion and strategic acquisition opportunities in India and globally.</p>
<p>Rising Sun Holdings joins existing investors in Inox Clean including CalPERS, RJ Corp, Authum Investments, and Akash Bhansali, amongst other family offices and HNI investors.</p>
<p>Devansh Jain, Executive Director at INOXGFL Group, said the investment reflected investors&#8217; confidence in Inox Clean&#8217;s differentiated business model, disciplined capital allocation, and ability to consistently execute at scale.</p>
<p>Inox Clean targets 15 GW of installed renewable energy IPP capacity and 11 GW of integrated solar manufacturing capacity by 2028.</p>
<p>In April, Inox Clean wrapped up the acquisition of <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/inox-clean-acquires-macquarie-owned-vibrant-energy-for-%E2%82%B950-billion" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Vibrant Energy</a>, a renewable energy platform owned by Macquarie and other shareholders, in a ₹50 billion (~$536.28 million) deal. Vibrant Energy&#8217;s portfolio included renewable energy assets spread across Maharashtra, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh.</p>
<p>In the same month, Inox Clean&#8217;s Inox Solar Americas announced it would acquire 100% equity in <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/inox-clean-energy-to-acquire-ningbo-boways-us-solar-unit" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Boviet Solar Technology</a> (North Carolina), a U.S.-based solar module manufacturing subsidiary of Ningbo Boway Alloy Material, for $750 million.</p>
<p>Inox Clean followed up with the acquisition of <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/inox-clean-energy-to-acquire-vena-energys-6-gw-renewables-portfolio" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Vena Energy India Holdings’</a> 6 GW renewable energy portfolio through its subsidiary, Inox Neo, in June. Vena Energy India&#8217;s portfolio comprises around 1 GW of operational capacity and 1.7 GW of solar and wind power assets. The portfolio also includes long-term power offtake arrangements with public sector and commercial enterprises, including Solar Energy Corporation of India and Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam.</p>

					</table><p><a href="https://inoxclean.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Inox Clean Energy</a>, the renewables arm of INOXGFL group, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire <a href="https://www.venaenergy.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Vena Energy India</a>’s 6 GW renewable energy portfolio.</p>
<p>Vena Energy India’s portfolio includes 1.2 GW of operational renewable energy assets, 1.8 GW of projects at an advanced stage of development and nearing commissioning, and 3 GW of projects under development.</p>
<p>According to the company, the portfolio also includes long-term power offtake arrangements with the Solar Energy Corporation of India, Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam, commercial and industrial consumers, and state distribution companies.</p>
<p>After the acquisition, Inox Clean Energy said its operating and near-operational portfolio would increase to about 4 GW, and its development pipeline would exceed 12 GW across solar, wind, hybrid, and other clean energy projects.</p>
<p>The company said this is its 10th strategic acquisition in the past 10 months.</p>
<p>In April 2026, Inox Solar Americas, a renewable energy platform of Inox Clean Energy, <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/inox-clean-energy-to-acquire-ningbo-boways-us-solar-unit" target="_blank" rel="noopener">announced</a> its decision to acquire 100% equity in Boviet Solar Technology (North Carolina), the U.S.-based solar module manufacturing subsidiary of Ningbo Boway Alloy Material.</p>
<p>In the same month, Inox Clean Energy <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/inox-clean-acquires-macquarie-owned-vibrant-energy-for-%E2%82%B950-billion" target="_blank" rel="noopener">completed</a> the acquisition of Vibrant Energy, a renewable energy platform owned by Macquarie and other shareholders, for approximately ₹50 billion (~$536.28 million).</p>
<p>In January of the same year, Inox Neo Energies <a href="https://mercomindia.com/inox-neo-energies-acquires-sunsources-300-mw-solar-projects" target="_blank" rel="noopener">acquired</a> around 300 MW of operational solar projects from SunSource Energy.</p>
<p>In 2025, Inox Neo Energies <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/inox-acquires-skypower-solar-india-50-mw-solar" target="_blank" rel="noopener">completed</a> the acquisition of Skypower Solar India, which operates a 50 MW solar power project in Madhya Pradesh.</p>
<p>Inox Clean Energy said its solar module manufacturing capacity stands at about 6 GW, including 3 GW in India and 3 GW in the U.S. The company also plans to commission two solar cell manufacturing facilities by December 2026: a 4.8 GW facility in Dhenkanal, Odisha, and a 3 GW facility in the U.S.</p>
<p>The company has set a target of more than 3 GW of annual capacity additions.</p>
<p>It has set a target of 10 GW of installed renewable independent power producer capacity and 11 GW of integrated solar manufacturing capacity by the financial year 2028, with assets across India, the U.S., Africa, and other key global markets.</p>
<p>Over the past year, INOXGFL Group has committed investments of over ₹500 billion (~$5.22 billion) across renewable power generation and solar manufacturing platforms in India, the U.S., and Africa.</p>

<p>Last September, Boviet Solar Technology <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/boviet-adds-third-solar-module-manufacturing-line-in-north-carolina" target="_blank" rel="noopener">added</a> a third module manufacturing line at its Greenville, North Carolina, facility, expanding its production capacity from 2 GW to 3 GW.</p>
<p>Ningbo Boway said the transaction is not expected to disrupt existing operations at the facility.</p>
<p>The company stated that ongoing contracts, deliveries, and project timelines will remain unchanged. It added that supply continuity will be maintained and that existing product warranties and service commitments will remain valid.</p>
<p>The company said the decision is linked to evolving regulatory frameworks in the United States, including considerations related to Foreign Entity of Concern requirements.</p>
<p>Ningbo Boway stated that the move is intended to align with compliance requirements and support long-term business stability.</p>
<p>No financial details of the transaction have been disclosed. The company also did not specify a timeline for completion, stating only that it is subject to approvals and standard closing conditions.</p>
<p>The announcement comes amid increased regulatory scrutiny in the U.S. solar manufacturing sector, particularly around supply chains and foreign ownership.</p>

KOREALFP secured this investment in connection with CES 2026, where it showcased its battery safety technologies.</p>

The acquisition of SSP marks Otovo’s strategic entry into California’s residential solar plus storage market. The company plans to convert the existing California base of SSP customers to its subscription service, expecting this initiative to be accretive to net income in 2026.</p>

<p>It is also in advanced stages of acquisition of a multi-gigawatt IPP portfolio and an integrated solar manufacturing facility based outside India.</p>
<p>Inox aims to install 10 GW of IPP capacity and 11 GW of integrated solar module manufacturing capacity by the financial year 2028, with expected consolidated annual revenues of ~₹300 billion (~$3.33 billion).</p>
<p>Commenting on the development, Devansh Jain, Executive Director at INOXGFL, said,  Inox Clean has large-scale, diversified growth opportunities over the next decade, backed by a business model that minimizes balance-sheet and execution risks, maximizes returns, and optimizes the utilization of excess cash to further growth.</p>
<p>Inox Clean operates across the renewable IPP business (under its subsidiary, Inox Neo) and the solar manufacturing business (under its subsidiary, Inox Solar).</p>
<p>Recently, <strong> </strong>Inox Neo Energies <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/inox-neo-energies-acquires-sunsources-300-mw-solar-projects" target="_blank" rel="noopener">acquired</a> around 300 MW of operational solar projects from SunSource Energy. The company is also in the process of acquiring an estimated 50 MW of solar projects pending approvals from SunSource Energy. The projects are located across 13 states, including Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Maharashtra.</p>
