					</table><p>Mahagenco Renewable Energy (<a href="https://www.mahagenco.in/maha-renewable-energy-ltd" target="_blank" rel="noopener">MahaGenco REL</a>), a wholly owned subsidiary of Maharashtra State Power Generation Company, has invited expressions of interest for offtake of green hydrogen and green ammonia from its production facility at Uran in Maharashtra’s Raigad district.</p>
<p>The last date to submit bids is August 31, 2026.</p>
<p>MahaGenco REL is developing a green hydrogen and green ammonia facility on land adjoining MAHAGENCO’s Gas Turbine Power Station at Bokadvira village.</p>
<p>The first phase of the facility will have an initial production capacity of 2,000 TPA of green hydrogen or its ammonia equivalent.  The capacity can be scaled up to an indicative 50,000 TPA in subsequent phases, subject to offtake commitments, financial closure, and regulatory approvals.</p>
<p>MahaGenco intends to select financially sound domestic buyers/consumers, traders, and consignment agents who may be interested in the prospective purchase/offtake of green hydrogen and/or green ammonia to be produced at the project.</p>
<p>Apart from green hydrogen and green ammonia, bidders may offtake oxygen, which is a natural by-product of electrolysis.</p>
<p>Bidders must be refineries, fertilizer manufacturers, steel producers, specialty chemical companies, city and industrial gas distribution entities, and mobility and fuel-cell users.</p>
<p>Registered traders dealing in industrial gases, chemicals, or fertilizer feedstocks can also participate. Consignment agents must demonstrate the capability to handle, store, and distribute compressed or liquefied industrial gases or ammonia.</p>
<p>Bidders must have a minimum average annual turnover of ₹30 million (~$313,438) in the preceding three financial years.</p>
<p>They must have a net worth of at least 25% of their paid-up share capital for the latest financial year.</p>
<p>Bidders must offtake a minimum of 0.2 kTPA of green hydrogen.</p>
<p>Successful bidders will be responsible for transportation and obtaining the statutory licenses and permits applicable to their part of the supply chain.</p>
<p>In April 2026, MahaGenco REL <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/mahagenco-issues-consultancy-tender-for-green-hydrogen-and-ammonia-project" target="_blank" rel="noopener">invited</a> bids to prepare a pre-feasibility study, technical bid specification, review and approval of detailed design engineering, and project management for a green hydrogen and ammonia project at Uran.</p>
<p>Recently, MNRE <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/mnre-issues-model-agreement-for-electrolyzer-as-a-service" target="_blank" rel="noopener">issued</a> a model service agreement for electrolyzer-as-a-service to support the adoption of green hydrogen across industrial sectors.</p>

					</table><p>MAHAGENCO Renewable Energy (<a href="https://www.mahagenco.in/maha-renewable-energy-ltd" target="_blank" rel="noopener">MAHAGENCO REL</a>) has invited bids for consultancy and project management services for eight grid-connected solar power projects of 25 MW each, along with battery energy storage systems (BESS) in Maharashtra.</p>
<p>The projects will have a combined solar capacity of 200 MW.</p>
<p>Bids must be submitted by June 29, 2026. Bids will be opened on July 1.</p>
<p>Bidders must pay a non-refundable tender fee of ₹17,700 (~$183.38), including 18% goods and services tax. They must also pay a non-refundable tender processing fee of ₹29,500 (~$305.63), including 18% GST. The earnest money deposit is ₹500,000 (~$5,180.24).</p>
<p>The scope of work includes the preparation of detailed project reports (DPRs), bid specifications, tendering support, review and approval of detailed engineering, material inspections, and project management services for the proposed projects.</p>
<p>Project risk analysis, financial modeling, energy yield assessment, preparation of basic engineering designs and layouts, bill of quantities, and cost estimation are part of the scope of work.</p>
<p>The selected bidder will also review and approve detailed engineering documents submitted during project execution and carry out material inspections for the project. Project management and execution support services for solar projects and integrated BESS are also within the scope.</p>
<p>Bidders must have at least 10 years of experience in solar industry services related to planning and design of solar projects and detailed engineering of solar projects during the last 15 years. Experience integrating BESS with renewable energy plants is mandatory.</p>
<p>Bidders must have completed either three similar works costing at least ₹20 million (~$207,209.65) each, or two similar works costing at least ₹25 million (~$259,012.06) each, or one similar work costing at least ₹40 million (~$414,419.29).</p>
<p>Alternatively, bidders with at least one completed FEED project for a solar or solar-hybrid project with a minimum capacity of 25 MW will also qualify.</p>
<p>Bidders must have a minimum average annual turnover of ₹50 million (~$518,024.12) for each of the last three financial years. Their net worth in the last financial year must be at least 25% of the paid-up share capital.</p>

<p>Bids must be submitted by May 19, 2026. Bids will be opened on May 21, 2026.</p>
<p>Bidders must pay an earnest money deposit of ₹2.5 million (~$26,733.63), a tender fee of ₹25,000 (~$267.34) plus 18% GST, and a tender processing fee of ₹50,000 (~$534.67).</p>
<p>Selected bidders must carry out an initial pre-feasibility study to assess a green hydrogen production plant with or without ammonia, that can be developed on 19.07 hectares. They must provide the power evacuation facilities, balance-of-plant, and storage facilities for the project.</p>
<p>MAHAGENCO REL will provide inputs such as basic site data, such as geotechnical data, soil investigation data, accessibility, renewable energy inputs, water availability and quality, infrastructure, and utilities.</p>
<p>Successful bidders must prepare a tender for a green hydrogen production facility with an initial installed capacity of 2 KTPA.</p>
<p>The scope of work also includes allocating land and planning the site layout for future expansion, providing a scalable, modular plant configuration, including electrolyzer systems, and providing utilities, infrastructure, and interconnections to accommodate enhanced capacity. It also involves securing statutory approvals and environmental clearances to maximize plant capacity.</p>
<p>Bidders must have at least 10 years of experience providing consultancy services in the oil and gas industry for the planning and design of refinery and process projects.</p>
<p>Bidders must have completed one of the following similar works:</p>
<ul>
<li>Three similar works with a total cost of at least ₹70 million (~$748,541.5)</li>
<li>Two similar works with a total cost of at least ₹80 million (~$855,476)</li>
<li>One similar work with a minimum total cost of ₹130 million (~$1.4 million)</li>
</ul>
<p>Similar work includes undertaking technical due diligence, pre-feasibility and detailed project reports, design engineering, or advisory roles for three hydrogen/derivative projects (minimum 0.5 KTPA each) or equivalent projects; completion of one 300 TPD hydrogen feasibility study; or execution of one front-end engineering design project for a hydrogen and ammonia plant with at least 600 TPD ammonia capacity.</p>
