Various government agencies floated solar tenders totaling approximately 5 GW in the first quarter (Q1) of the calendar year (CY) 2022, a decrease of 18% compared to the previous quarter, according to Mercom India Research. Tender announcements were down by 52% year-over-year (YoY) compared to the same period last year.
