Bringing Together Large Power Consumers and Clean Energy Solution Providers

C&I Clean Energy Meet in Pune on November 27, 2026

. Designed specifically for commercial and industrial energy consumers, the event will bring together C&I businesses, clean energy solution providers, developers, and financiers to help businesses understand their clean energy options and make better-informed energy decisions.

Maharashtra is one of India’s largest renewable energy markets, supported by a large commercial and industrial base and growing adoption of solar, open access, captive power, and other clean energy solutions. As of June 2026, the state had 19.3 GW of installed solar capacity, while cumulative solar open access capacity stood at 5.8 GW. Open access accounted for 43.1% of Maharashtra’s cumulative large-scale solar capacity, showing that procuring renewable power directly is already an important option for businesses looking to reduce electricity costs and meet their clean energy goals.

For commercial and industrial businesses, reducing electricity costs, improving energy resilience, and meeting sustainability goals are creating greater interest in rooftop solar, open access, captive power, and energy storage. But understanding which option works for a business is becoming more important as banking provisions, tariffs, regulations, technology, and financing options evolve. Businesses increasingly need to consider when and how they consume electricity, how renewable generation matches their demand, and whether different procurement options can work together.
